FutureBright Youth
Power of Harvard , University of Pennsylvania, & Columbia University
Supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people through empathy, community, and culturally responsive care.
Who we are
FutureBright Youth is a nonprofit organization based in Pennsylvania and New York dedicated to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people, especially those from underserved and underrepresented communities. This includes youth who face cultural, linguistic, or systemic barriers to accessing care—such as recent immigrants, low-income families, or those navigating stigma around mental health. We create welcoming, youth-centered spaces rooted in empathy, community, and culturally responsive care. Through peer support, emotional connection, and collective healing, we help young people build resilience, find belonging, and grow together.

Providing you with a safe space to relax
Safe, youth-led spaces (online & offline), Our peer support groups are trained based on the DBHIDS & ATTC-certified Peer Support Toolkit, a professional framework rooted in trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care
With Designed Empowerment Menu (emotional skills, financial literacy, and legal basics) etc
Why it matters: Teens are twice as likely as adults to experience mental distress
Fun Healing Community
We will host community-based activities including: puppy yoga, music therapy, art journaling, and guided meditation, LGBTQ+ identity circles, giving youth ways to explore their interest, emotions, build trust, and moments of joy
Why it matters: Most youth don’t heal through lectures, they heal when they feel joyful, accepted, and free to be themselves
